The Take A Breather Foundation provides a “breather,” in the form of a wish, to individuals battling cystic fibrosis (CF). The foundation brings moments of relief, joy, and hope to patients and their families.

We empower families with the knowledge, resources, and emotional resilience needed. We strive to foster a world where every person with CF can thrive, feel understood, and never face their journey alone.

From expert tools and wellness resources to peer connection and daily inspiration, we’re here to help individuals with CF and their families live fuller, healthier lives.

Founded by an adult with cystic fibrosis, we understand the challenges of CF firsthand. The obstacles that CF patients face as they transition into adulthood with a fulfilling, healthy life are near and dear to our hearts.

To give emotional and/or financial support to parents who have a loved one with cystic fibrosis. Our hope is one day no CF parent will experience the pain of losing a child to this disease.

From the lab to trials and through regulatory approvals, we are teeing up all steps of the drug development process so that the moment a therapy is ready, it reaches people with CF in record speed. 

CF Vests Worldwide improves the health and survival of people living with cystic fibrosis by providing access to life-sustaining respiratory therapy equipment.

CF Bridge of Hope is a care resource for those living with CF who need medical treatment and related education not available in their home country.

We believe that by helping people discover their passion for activities, we can build their self-confidence and motivate them to push their boundaries.

Founded in 1975, CFRI funds innovative cystic fibrosis (CF) research and offers education, advocacy and psychosocial support programs and services to those with CF, as well as their families and caregivers.
