​The Home Air Quality Support Program provides high-quality, CF-friendly air improvement tools to help individuals and families create safer home environments. Through this program, participants receive a Honeywell air filter device and/or, Honeywell humidifier, both designed to support cleaner, healthier indoor air.

 

Why Home Air Quality Matters for CF

 

People with CF are especially sensitive to:

• Particles, dust, and allergens

• Dry air that thickens mucus and makes breathing harder

• Airborne irritants that can trigger lung flare-ups

• Bacteria and mold growth in poor-quality air environments
   

Improving home air can help reduce these burdens, support lung function, and promote better daily breathing.

  Helps remove airborne particles, allergens, pollutants, and irritants from the home environment.

• Honeywell Humidifier
  Adds moisture to dry indoor air, supporting easier breathing, maintaining airway comfort, and reducing mucus thickness.
